Been interested in the heart this year and have been trying to do a few pieces of artwork on that idea in my sketchbook.

Why the heart?

I read a book years ago by John Eldredge called “Waking the Dead” and was struck by his take on how important our hearts are.

Above all else, guard your heart,
for it is the wellspring of life.

King Solomon (Prov 4:23)

The heart is central to who we are and so often we ignore it, dismiss it or it is under attack and we don’t even realise it. But if we can live from our hearts, then we truly live out of who we are and who God made us to be.
